iPod wont work with Alpine Headunit now!

How do all,

Got an iPod touch 32gb, and an Alpine CDA-9884R with USB and iPod lead.

When i first had the headunit the iPod worked, however came to try it yesterday and it will give me the 'Accessory Connected' wallpaper and charge, but the headunit wont pick it up and allow me to search through.

Cant work out whats wrong, would it be something to do with the new OS?! Have tried alsorts, including turning the iPod on when connected, but still nothing.

There are a few options in terms of the aux in etc, but i dont have a manual as it was second hand!

hmm strange one :-/ anyone else got any ideas?? only thing i can think of is seeing if there are any updates for your ipod available through i-tunes ?

Right im sorted, certain options found in an online manual to turn off certain input options.

What did you have to turn off?

If you have a look at the link to the manual mate its something like the digital input off and the aux in off, leaving only one of the inputs on.

Sounds more complicated than it is, but i just sat in the car with that manual open on the iPod section.
