Ipod location/connection help

I've paid for an ipod conector as an option on my new FR and my car has a loose wire in the glove box. The manual shows it should be under the passenger seat and it looks like you just slide the ipod in to a cradle to connect it - no fiddling with wires.

Has anyone else got this option, was it dealer or factory fit and where is it? I'd appreciate any info as I think the dealer is messing me about.

As far as I know you get a loose wire in the glovebox and you describe, which sucks imo. Can you take a pic or scan your manual, would like to see this. I want to get the armrest and some how put a ipod cradle/connection in that, not sure how yet :(

Near Reevo :)
If its factory fit - then its under the seat.

If its a dealer fit, then its in the glove box (or other area - some have said they have it in the cup holders in front of gear stick.

Sounds like you have a dealer fit, rather than factory fit IPOD connection.

You have a photo of your cup holder Tam? And which cable did they use, as when I inquired they said the cable is very short :(
