Inudction Kit

I have a 2001 1.6 Leon and at the moment my K&N sits directly on top of the throttle body and I have 2 cold air feeds running from the front grill to the K&N, but it is sucking in to much heat.

I need to move it over to the right hand side of the engine bay where the battery is I have found a 90deg right angle silicon piece of piping for the job from a company called sfsperformance, but was told not to use silicon pipping to extent from the right angle what piping would people recommend as I want to keep the air as cool as possible?

i'd say silicone was as good a pipe as any to fit a filter to ! .. most induction kits and c.a.i kits have silicone hoses on them and peeps with turbo engines uprate the boost pipes to silicone

cheers for that I think I will go with that option then.
