Well, my car passed all its tests yesterday and I've got printouts of the graphs to prove it. The plugs and coils were inspected and the throttle was cleaned. Nothing unusual occurred during a road test.

I took the opportunity to get a Forge DV fitted and the free 5 hour Revo demo. I'm also getting a breather hose replaced.

Starting from cold last night and this morning seemed OK. Just need a few days of driving to work and back to see if the hesitation problem has gone or not.

had exactly the same problem with mine with help from people on this forum managed to track it down to a small leak on the dv hose but it was only happening under load so took a while to find it hope this helps

Thanks for that, my prob is at 2 - 3k revs when you pull slowly from cold. I have seen the prob on loads of threads here but none have the answer.
I will check all the hoses though as that may still be the problem. Cheers

Saul, do you have any news on the hesitaion issues from before? Mines just started and not sure what to take apart and clean first?

i resealed the vac hoses with new clips and put a new "green top" temp sensor on and this seemed to solve the problems

id defo do the temp sensor first (£20 part from GSF and 5 min job)

All sorted. A MAF sensor fault was the cause of this as well as irregular boost pressure...Something that I hadn't even noticed until it was sorted.

Quick clean up along with the 40K service and all is well again! :D
