Hi guys,

New to the forum but recently bought a Mk1 Leon Cupra 180! Been having this issue for a while now the car sometimes does not want to start and gives the same 11 fault codes every time. I have already replaced the crank sensor but no luck. I have found that when it doesn't start, the fault codes will appear, but then if I leave the ignition on for around 3 minutes the fuel pump will re prime and it starts straight up and the fault codes dissapear. Suspected this could be a fuel pump issue but it seems to prime as normal every time the ignition is turned on even when it doesn't start.

Fault codes are as follows :

P0261 - Cyl 1 Injector short to ground
P0267 - Cyl 3 injector short to ground
P0270 - Cyl 4 injector short to ground
C0848 - Not Defined
C2B10 - Not Defined
C0702 - Level control accessory circuit malfunction
C2404 - Not Defined
C0500 - Steering assist control solenoid/motor/actuator feed circuit open
P0418 - Air injection system relay A control circuit malfunction
P0010 - Camshaft position actuator circuit bank 1 malfunction
P0414 - secondary air injector system switching valve A circuit shorted

Hopefully somebody will have an idea on where to go next with this as I am running out of ideas!

Cheers guys!:D

Update for anyone having a similar problem!

Traced the fault down to the fuel pump not always priming when getting into the vehicle/putting the ignition on causing it not to start and giving the same 11 faults. I pulled the fuel pump relay (409) out and I noticed the ECU gave the same fault codes when the car wouldn't start, so after replacing the fuel pump relay I tried again and all seems well so far! Just thought I would update on this as the fault codes given don't really lead you to a fault with the fuel pump relay

I will keep this updated if it turns out that it hasn't fixed it but I haven't had a problem with it for the past 2 days :D
