Hi all, I've been having problems with my car for some time (lumpy on idle, lots of white smoke and absolutely stinking of burning fuel)
Anyway, today I took my car to Jabba Sport and after plugging it in no faults came up. He looked under my bonnet and saw lots and lots of black soot around my inlet manifold. To cut a long story short, he then did a smoke test and loads of smoke escaped from my manifold and he said there was a massive crack/ split. So basically I need to replace my manifold and hopefully this will sort out all the problems I've been having.
He told me that the manifold at the minute is plastic but aluminium ones are cheaper and also fit. So what I was wondering is if anyone knows where to source these and also how easy is it to do yourself?
Thanks in advance

Ebay has them for around £30-50. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to swap over.

Its a BKD alloy inlet manifold you will need assuming you have a PD170 engine.
