Infotainment update MEN3 (stuck with old SW 1761)

Hi all,

I'm newbie here, tried to figure out by myself from different threads but I'm stuck.

I have some minor issues with the quality of resolution on Android Auto and I would like to update to newer version.

OTA is not proposing to me any update, so I tried to do it manually with USB.
I managed to get a link from another post for the files (MEN3_EU_SE326_P3385L ) I need but unfortunatly the system infortainment does't detect any new SW in the USB, and I don't see any option to select file from USB. Should I enter to engineering mode and if it's the case how can I do it?

Thanks a lot for your help.
anyone had experience with SW update on Tarraco with 8inch screen (model 2022)

I don't have the same Unit described in that post. mine is the small screen. I tried this method of holding the menu button (3 stripes ///) and going to Software update menu but it didn't change anything.

try pressing the "car button" the one at the far right for 10 seconds.

And be sure to have a full batterie in the car, turn off climatcontroll. It will take a while to upgrade.

Thanks a lot, that worked and I managed to do the upgrade to 1800 version. unfortunatly my problem is not solved. I will ask in another thread.

I made a mistake by not taking the larger one. I didn't want to pay for the Navi and ended up with this low end screen. Difficult to see the difference when ordering online and the only cars shown in dealership are with the big screen.

hopefully there will be an update so android auto uses the whole screen, I have seen Ibiza cars from 2024 where they show fullscreen android auto and apple carplay. Its software related.
