Just wondering how i can make the steering of my cupra more responsive?

My current setup of bilstein coilovers and 17" team dynamics wheels seem to be good but would love more precise steering.

Any help appreciated

Cheers

The obvious step of better tyres is always a good idea for improving handling, maybe strut brace to stiffen the body slightly.

Agreed on the bushes, do you also have a strut brace? well worth it and not too expensive...will improve turn in

HAve you changed the Anti-roll bars

Anti-roll bars as far as i'm aware are standard.

No strut brace either, i'll invest in one of those.

on my cupra i think the steering is very light and sensitive, i drive a clio trophy for dayly drive and the steering feel's more strong and weighted

i heard there might be some way of reducing the power steering sensativity?

i run pss9
arb front and back
spacers, and front and rear strut brace
so not alot more i can do unless they do a ploy bush kit for the ibiza

Uprate the ARBs, fit upper and lower front strut braces. Run slightly more negative camber and change the top mounts so you can alter the camber settings. Get rid of the 17's the car will handle much better on 16s or even 15s.
Up the damping at the back, alter spring rates (this requires some experimentation)

I played about a lot with my setup and it's loads, loads better than standard however it's never going to be as good as I want...

Do lower braces exist?

Lower braces do exist... consider the fact that the subframe wishbone setup is a mix'match of MK2 Golf, Corrado, MK2 Ibiza/Cordoba, MK3 Golf, etc.

honestly the upper and lower fronts don't make a massive difference on there own but if you're doing everything else then...

mork just had the alignment all done, and will be getting done again after diff fitted

but i guess i only notice when jump out of one car, and into the other but shame carnt use vag com on the mk3 to make it feel more weighty

Andy, i have the same problem with my steering - far too light. I did post a question about it a while ago but never got any answers
