did the car work without he transponder in key key originally?
perhaps the original immo has been removed and an aftermarket one put in. In which case, youll need to find it, take it out, and rejoin the wires which have been cut. Which will more than likely be on the ignition barrel or near the fuse box. It could even be something as simple as a relay controlling the ignition like a simple immobiliser, so just try and find soemthing that isnt meant to be there...

id put money on it being the immobiliser now if not fuel pumprelay

well the wires mate on this toad immo are all black lol nothing is marked or labelled at all!! sooo its like playing russian roulette!! there has been wire casing cut for the live feed, an earth has been cut for it and then theres another 2 wires which have been cut. sooo that makes 4 places but the immo has 7 wires :S

I just dont kno why the atuo leccy didnt plug his lappy in and did a diagnostics?? he just said ''yeah key transponder not working'' so passed me onto an auto locksmith who in turn has now asked for help off the auto leccy, but they not exactly rushing themselves so i have to keep phoning to get updates of what there doing coz i work away from home all day

I'm not sure about this, but maybe the wire that was cut in the ignition barrell had/ has something to do with the standard immobiliser. Try disconnecting it again and fit the aftermarket immob again. A long shot, but worth a try.

If not then try putting a request in the Vag com section for someone with Vag com to have a look at it for you. Offer them fuel money and £20 and i'm sure someone will have a look for you.

I'm not sure if you would be able to get a mobile mechanic to come out and have a look at it either. Well you would but they might have Vag com. I think the only way you're going to solve this now is with Vag com.

Sorry i/ we couldn't be more help. Please keep us updated. Thanks.
