I´m having trouble getting my ibiza 1.4 stella 2000 to start. Nothing simply happens when I turn the key to ignite. Today i discovered something.
I´m gonna describe it step by step
1. I put the key into the ignition.
2. I turn the key to the first position. Nothing happens. Shouln´t the panel light up?
3. I turn the key to the 2nd position and panel lights up. But wipers, fans and blinkers dead.
4. Turn the key to the third poition and hold to start car. Nothing happens, except wipers, fans and blinker starts to work.
5. When I release key and it springs back to 2nd pos. the wipers and blinkers and blinkers stop working..
Seems like the mechanical position for the key and the accual connectors doesn´t line up. Is there an easy fix or do I have to remove the whole locking assembly?
