Idle question

Hey folks,, after now having my car for a few days i have noticed that when sitting idle say at the light I can feel the car rocking to the motion of the engine idle. Its a very strange sensation as if ur very gently being shook.

Now this may sound daft but is this normal for the idle to be so agressive? When i pop my bonnet the engine is moving round a fair old bit, nothing extreme like but as theidle ticks over theres a fair old bit of movement.

I notice this on mine, it moves quite alot to be honest.

I think this is fairly normal. Mine initialy jerks slightly but then settles.

my 1.4 sport does this between 700-900rpm...

few so i'm just super paranoid, as my last car had an engine the size of a milk bottle. .

Its quite soothing while siiting in traffic like having a massage LOL....

wouldnt worry about it... i certainly dont...thats what warrantys for

Mine does this, its just an errattic idle, common on the 1.9tdi pd engines

new engine and gearbox mounts wil prob fix it for a while but the heavy old tdi lump will start to move again after a while

Cars only done 14,000 miles.

^^^^^ yeah thats about right for the rubber mount bushes to get a bit slack

lol.... oh well. Now to mess with more things....

my engine moves alot too really lumpy at lights aswell
