Picture this, you're a complete moron when it comes to fiddling with cars and electronics. You have an iPod mini, an Aura head unit and a few quid in your pocket.

What's the easiest and most effective way to connect said iPod to the sound system that exists. I am looking for somewhere to do it for me as previously mentioned I have no idea when it comes to taking things apart and putting them back together. Are there any places which would do such a thing in the Bedfordshire area?

I've seen the Dension kit and that looks about what I am looking for, but does anywhere fit them?

The PCS is Milton Keynes, Stacy Bushes, near the big TMC and Lexus showroom, but putting a head unit in is extremeley easy, i would say read up how to do it and do it yourself instead of paying for it! dont know about the ipod connectivity though

Do what i've just done, ditch the HU and buy one with an aux-in, mine got a front aux-in and plays mp3 etc. the hardest part for me was removing the old HU ( should have bought the removal tool  ) pretty much plug and play.

P.S. did get some advice of Pete ;)

Only problem is, I don't really want to spend more than £150 ish which leaves me with few options I guess.

You should have come to GTI International. If you'd been on the stand and brought a box with a Dension in it you might well have been able to leave with it all plugged in and working :p

For around 150 nicker?

Even if I'd have known what GTI International was or when I wouldn't have been able to go. My back's shot so I can't really manage travelling anywhere more then 20 minutes away. Hoping to be sorted soon but.

Anyways, all very well telling me what I could have done, how about what I can do (fo future reference once my back's sorted of course)

Much obliged chap. :D

This will be plug and play mate, I doubt there's any real wiring other than pluging a few connectors in. And they'll only plug in one way round :)

I guess if I give it a go and fail I can then always try an expert......

I'll let you know how I get on.

Cheers chap.
