Hi All,

Been looking into these what with having fond memories of my mk5 FR before getting my Suzuki Swift Sport. I have a couple of concerns though which won't all get answered by a test drive:

On the limit handling
Whilst not all that playful, I always thought my FR was fairly well balanced and grippy despite the poor reviews. Is the cupra pretty much the same? Can it be made to be more playful or even approaching as good as a FiST with a RARB?

Steering weight
I've read it's a bit too light in the cupra in non cupra mode. I changed the steering weight on my FR to ''light car' with VCDS which improved things massively but was wondering if this is possible on the cupra given it has different modes?

Sound actor volume
Is it possible to adjust this in each of the different driving modes using vcds? I've read it can sound a bit artificial so the option to customise the volume with VCDS would really appeal to me.

Engine torque curve
How badly does the power really drop off with these 1.8 engines? Some reviews say it's done by 5,500rpm but others say it good all the way up to the redline.

Traction
Is it in alright in the wet seeing as it's a pretty big issue on the Leon? Hopefully not seeing as that's much more powerful and heavier. Also is the XDS set to strong by default on the Ibiza Cupra?

Good to be back on this great forum btw :)

I don't have answers but tuning in as I'd like to hear them. Getting a 1.2 FR this week.
