Ibiza clutches

the cars on 53k and has been revod for about 2k and iv noticed now that the clutch is slipping and the car is nolonger chucking me back like it used to

basically the revs are jumping from 3.5 right up to 5k

been looking at pro clutches but abit shocked by prices as i recently spotted an ebay advert selling some for 150quid but i didnt recognise the brand, laughed that perhaps it were just a stock clutch painted red lol

anyway so am thinking that i might just replace it with another stock one. But when i get it sorted in the future and they have the box out, could they stick a quaife atb diff aswell or is that alot more work??
and is my box 02A or 02J?

im not planning on getting any more performance mods after downpipe an race cat and fmic are done. maybe a k03s if something where to happen to the stock turbo but nowt else really

60k now, chipped from 10k k03s/e05 until 42k and IHI untill now, stnd clutch still going strong.

and thats something i just cant understand?

i knew when i bought my car it had taken a beating...but it drove fine and on the 7k iv done myself iv never dropped the clutch hard and only really get the biting point and boot it occasionally

but im not putting anywhere near 300bhp on it and its slipping like a bitch

Last RR'd on jabbas new rollers was 340bhp 340lbs ft. Its the torque thats the killer.

weird today too on my way home from uni the revs werent hunting like usual...it felt normal?

is it def my clutch on its way out?

No reason why they couldnt throw a dif in. Looking at an extra ~£1k though I think. 02J box.

iv found theres a vw specialist up the road from me today so i went up there to check it out, only a small garage but very modern with a set of lifts. lol asked bout cluch and they said its 4hrs labour, mot next week though so will get mates old man to check it i think during the test

tbh it seems very weird to me..but im 99% sure it is the clutch

id like to come do some logging at some point just been so busy at present with uni work, and daz'll come aslong as he aint working cos he's always up for some hi speed fun

Have you checked the prices for VR6 clutches boys? It's a common upgrade
