i have a mk4 ibiza pd130 and have had the following done. hybrid turbo, kn filter, pd160 intake, decat(welded pipe) seat sport fmic with forge piping, and a remap from regal autosport. when on rolling road it produced 197/198 bhp and 348 lb/ft. this was with it smoking because of lower boost pipe blowing and the fmic not to good!. the thing is ive just spent out on brand new fmic and there are no leaks and it feels slower than my brothers standard fabia vrs! well mine has more pull further up. i know vrs has lower ratio gearbox but with over 100 lb/ft more i would think it would hammer it! the dyno read out said max torque was about 2500 rpm, quite low i think. also with traction off i still dont get wheelspin! lol!. not sure what problem is. ps, also fitted sachs uprated clutch.

feels faster or is faster? The standard pd130s power comes in big lumps and might give the impression that it has a lot more go than it actually has.

Surely with your mods you should be putting out around 240+ Bhp? The only thing that I can see with my limited knowledge would be your clutch holding you back?

if all your power is kicking in 3000rpm plus then yes it might feel slower as a standard turbo will be kicking in around 1500-2000rpm
it could well be the map you have on it!

the car has a sach uprated clutch, and its got a dual mass flywheel. also super pro dog bone mount. i have been to regal before and seem to do good job. they also deal with vag cars. to be honest its the nearest one with rolling road etc. i would be happy with the bhp and really happy with 348lb of torque if i felt it was there. the turbo was purchased from universal turbos at ringwood, said was good for 200-220 bhp. been thinking of taking to another RR to see how it goes there.

actually i havent been saying how good the maps are. twice ive said i have been to them and done good work. not all map related. this time the car doesnt feel like its got the power they said it has,so i dont know how thats bigging them up ! if i go to another rolling road and its way down on power ill be going back p...ed off. if someone did vag maps closer i would go to them. and im new to this so didnt know i couldnt name names.

i have a hybrid turbo in my car and am pulling 230bhp 330lbs torque, i am running on a smf and it pulls from 2200rpm like a train. I would say get a smf and another remap and you should beat the vrs easily. i also have just a forge fmic so i could get more power with a seat sport fmic but am happy as it is.

hi, just an update. it was last march when i RR the ibiza. took the car to another rolling road , this was with new fmic and no boost leaks and on a cold day(4 centigrade) and it made 205.6 bhp and 356lb/ft torque. the print out also had a very similar curve. operator said i was prob used to the power or because it came in very low down i wasnt putting as much pedal down. probably the latter, when overtaking or booting it ,it does shift.
