Ibiza 1.2 tdi 2011 cam belt interval

Hi can anyone please confirm the time period for changing the cam belt on my 61 reg 1.2 tdi.The book says 90,000 miles but no mention of time period.My independent dealer says 5 years.I have done 40,000 miles

120000 km and no time limit was confirmed to me by my local dealer in Greece. The same is mentioned in our service books. I am thinking of changing mine at about 100000 km-6 years, just to play it safe.

Thanks for the info birdflesh,I don't see why the time period should be any different between Greece and the U.K.Maybe Seat UK think that they can screw more money out of us than the Greeks!

Mines a 1.6 TDI so a little different. The interval is 130,000 miles or 5 years.
