There isn’t an option to turn them off in the menus because I’m assuming Seat didn’t intend them to be deactivated. The front fog lights on my VW work in exactly the same way and I can’t say it’s ever bothered me - in fact I actually find the cornering light function quite useful.

if you do want to deactivate them, then they can probably be coded out with VCDS, OBD11 or similar, although before getting this done it might be worth checking to see if front cornering lights - if fitted - are checked during an MOT test (I don’t think they are, but worth checking first).

That did bother me, so much I bought myself Carrista, plugged into the port to turn the cornering fogs off (I had bi-Xenons, so those fogs just look, out of place). However I did enable some cool features such as startup needle sweep, lock with a chirp, and in the menus there were more options like 'turn on/off DRLS' and 'turn off DRLs when handbrake applied'. I did also enable mirror fold on lock, but that rarely worked, or they worked when I didn't want it to.

Just plug into obd port and connect to phones Bluetooth. Need to download app though. If I recall correctly there's like a trial period where you do all the stuff for 1 week or something.

Also the newer cars after I had the Ibiza all no longer had cornering function, heck they didn't even have fog lights anymore! That been said they had full LED headlights, and they were bright enough. Likewise when I did have the fog lights, in 4 years I've only really had to turn them on once or twice for 10 mins or so in heavy fog and heavy snow (I know, it's not foggy, but it did let me see near the ground!). Not sure why the my Ibiza needed cornering fogs, when it has AFS (cornering) Bi-Xenons.

Cheers what do I plug into the port, like I said do I have to buy the cable seperate? Cheers
Yes you plug that oversized looking USB stick into the OBD port, and connect to your phone via bluetooth. Prior you need to download the carrista app, which I think has a week long free trial period. Or you can see which functions it has, and once you seen them, start your trial and make the changes. There are no wires required. If i recall corectly, just below the light switch, there is a covering, if you gently open that, you will see the OBD port there. I'm not sure if you are based in London or how urgently (or annoyed you are with the fogs) you want to try carrista, but i do have carrista that i used once and it is not compatible with my current or future car. Rather than collecting dust, it could go to a new home..
