Tried out the Meguiars Ultra Plush wash mitt (synthetic sheepskin) the other day - to discover that it left about 20 million tiny scratches on my car, after I dried my car I was horrified! It was either that or the Water Magnet drying towel - either way both Meguiars items I will never use again.

So I just spent the afternoon with Poorboy's blue polish with carnauba and then Optimum spray wax, all the micro-marring is now gone and the car is back to its best. I am rapidly going off Meguiars stuff - both items are now in the bin!

In addition, I used the Pakshak drying towel and that caused no marks, the Pakshak MF towels are also very, very good (shame they are such kn*bs, great products).

I will say that I have never had any problems with the Meguiars microfibre ultimate wash mitt (white one), I have 2 of these and they're good, no scratching.

If they are the best thing to go for then yes please mate

I am using an Halfords Wash Mitt and an Autoglym Chamois/Perfect Polishing Cloth at the moment, so anything is better than these.

The Waffle Weaves are for polishing I assume? Which is the best chamois?

I am also selling my 4-Star UPP stuff as well, I have 3 bottles of it, plus the paint cleanser and gloss enhancing spray too. I am happy with Poorboy's, Wolfgang, Optimum etc. so I really don't need the UPP. Cost me around £80 for it all - I'll sell it for £55 delivered.

(all brand new bar one UPP which has a tiny amount from it)

I also have a bottle of Pinnacle liquid Souveran wax too - £11 delivered (or swap for something)
