how to get you car to shine like never before ?, buy a pc

I see that most posters in this thread are using the products on dark colours, i have got a silver car and find that megs gold wax liquid stuff gives it a good shine, will all these waxes show a noticable difference on lighter colours?

lighter colours are hard to get a shine on, but not impossible, a good sollution is megs #21, if a car is prepped properly most quality polishes/ waxes will achieve a good result, i.e clayed/ paint cleaner/ sealer and or wax

can be a final layer, but better with a coating of #16 ontop

^^yeh you can improve on any paint finish with a bit of work

This is very true, just noticed on my metalic grey mondeo how well it comes out tho, make me wish mine was metalic as its bloody shiney now so can only imagine how good it would be with a flec in it

aargh....

thought it would be the perfect day to do the car today overclouded and nice and cool, and what does it start doing half way through doing the car spits with rain....im mad now. anyway been using the following and its looking good so if the spitting rain goes ill finish it.

Washed with Zymol, then clayed the whole car with clearkote clay and quick detailer.

All using PC and buff by hand

1 x poorboys ssr 2.5
1 x poorboys polish with canuba
1 x poorboys ex sealant

so far done roof bonnet and rear end then its spitting with rain.

possibly then finish with p21s wax...

Got it all finished with the above stuff and P21s'd it all too. see pics, for some reason they have come out really dark, but to aid the the paintwork looks really dark now after doing it and I am well impressed with it, looks better in the flesh than on these pics mind you.

What do you think?
