Be careful though, as the £40 buffers are not RANDOM orbital buffers, just orbital like a sander and these are the ones that will burn your paint if you're not very, very careful.

yeh i did say £80 for the pc alone, the £176 is for the pc kit, with pads etc ($50 extra) and the screwfix transformer/ extension

Dad just got back from the States, straight around to collect my PC and pads. Got home and wired it all up. It makes more noise than i expected. Weird to see the way it wiggles around at startup.

Are people using the spacer with the velcro backing plate?
