How necessary is a silicon TIP for a Custom Code Stage 1 Map??

Hi 8bit!!! Lucky us hey!!! Good pipe mate! Tbh, call it ezee, but i took the hose to a local hardware store and just asked the guy for clips to match the pipes lol took him 2mins to match them up and at 4quid u cant go wrong!!!! Sorrrted!!

Hmm ok cool, cheers for the advice. Think I'll get myself a forge 007p valve and panel filter soon so will do the whole lot the first decent Saturday afternoon I get free :)

No problem, airbox screws out easily, and youll have easy access to the rubber TIP. once its off youll be able to see the TURBO charger, you wont need a jubilee clip for the "pipe onto airbox" as theres already one on there.

OK nice one. So - i'll need some o-ring/jubilee clips (i'll take the TIP to B&Q and get those), some sort of tool to tighten them (a "flexi-drive"?) and something to remove the old ones? Long-nose pliers?

Been reading on here all afternoon, not seeing a proper, definitive guide that covers the BAM-engine LCRs, lots for the older model cars tho...

Really simple mate me and my gf did mine in about 20 min for the clip around the turbo I used a small rachet, just feel an undo the rest is just even easier
