How much service n cambelt?!

Just had yearly/20K (car has done 65K) service with cambelt inc. roller etc and waterpump, £495.89 at Plymouth Seat.

Can't believe differences in prices for this job!

Had my car 5 1/2 years and Seat only recently changed interval to include 4yrs. Nice one Seat!

Anyways, job is done. Now all I need is to work out how to run my car on fresh air for the next 6mths 'cos now I can't afford the petrol LOL.

God im glad my cam belt and tensioner etc was done when i bought the car
(only 40k but 5 yrs so the dealer had to do it :) )

Some of those quotes are mental!

Im due my yearly service soon, there goes ->£200 i suppose, we shall see but i do want it doing at seat.

iv jus bought my cam belt, tensioner and water pump today! 86 for the lot.. im gettin them changed for free as my engine is out next week anyway getin gt28rs fitted etc so the guy said hel do it an no extra cost!! phew!!

Hi All,

I'm hopefully going to purchase my Ibiza cupra at the weekend and i too have been thinkg about the cambelt, but not sure what to do.
The car only has 36k on the clock.
It had a service at 34k
its a Y reg

Do i need to chage the cambelt and walter pump?
They didn't say anything at the service.
