no we pay for that, thats why we have **** roads and every other Eu country has marble smooth roads.


as for the milage, dunno need to check with a specialist to see what the engine is likely to run too. I thought most VAGS were pretty good as long as they had been looked after.

Only reason i say check is, i remember reading a letter in autocar about buying a high milage beemer 525 ( not sure which engine it was) but in that letter they said not too cos the engine just falls to bits after 200000 and would require a new block due to wear. There was also a very good read a couple of months ago about buying high milers, they had focuses etc with 160k on the clock and gave a guide to buying intergalactic mile munchers.
