Hello all !!! In a first time sorry for my english but I'm french :D

I explain my problem, I have bought a Turbo Timer, but impossible to fit it, I don't know, what color put with color of turbo timer.

On my key cylinder, I have five colors :

- red
- black
- black with red stripe
- green
- black and yellow

and on my turbo timer :
- blue
- yellow
- red

I tell you this evening what colors of turbo timer represent.

Someone knows how I can do ? because on French forums nobbody say ... thanks for all

I have more informations :

On the turbo timer :

red : +12V (so red on the key cylinder I think)
blue : ACC (accessory)
yellow : IG ignition

Do you know where I should put the blue and yellow ? Thanks for all.

Thanks for your answer but I have ever tried it yesterday, and it is not good. We have not the same colors in the key cylinder. With these connexions, when I put ff the engine, the TT is off too.

you'll find most don't suggest a turbo timer. in England it would probably invalidate your insurance

also, the Cupras have a Secondary Water pump, which is designed to cool the car after ignition is turned off. So no real need for a Turbo Timer ;)

the red should go to a constant live!

i dont know where your blue will go but im sure u should have instruction as to what type of acc it should go to. also there should be more wires as you have to put one on the handbrake and also on starter motor.

try and find a wiring diagram for the cupra, ask your local dealer or mochanic if they can get one for you.

my turbo timer has 9 wires so i dont know how yours only has 3

Hello,
No help on turbo timer I am afraid. BUT if your secondary water pump is not working should you not have a look at why? Fuses on top of battery may have blown.

blue from the TT goes into the small green wire on the key cylinder, and the yellow wire from TT goes to the thick black wire on the key cylinder. hope this helps?

MANY THAAAANK :D :D :D I will try it !!!

And for the handbrake, It is 2 wires, an entry and an exit, + and -, It it important where we put it, or no ? Because the handbrake wire of the TT is only one wire, not a + and a -. Thanks :D
