last tie i tried the first thing i did was ping off one of the plastic bars underneath. the thing is still sitting there securely tho. will have another go in a sec!....

so i should be able to do this by finger pressure only?

You can release them with you thumb. Place your thumb on the end of the tab and roll backwards. This lifts the front of the securing tab. Push the connector inwards whilst rolling the tab back this will release it, then withdraw.

There should be an end on that piece of plastic, you need to pull that backwards to the wiring end of the connector.

hmm there was a small 'bridge' bit of plastic going across underneath at the nearest point of that lower bit.

it pinged off about 2 seconds after i started playing with it :) so now i just have two vertical sides....lol

yikes ive only managed to go ahead and bloody done it finally....

there's a bit of plastic clipping that covers over the real clip. think if i hadn't snapped off the covering clipping i wouldnt have been able to reach the clip itself.

done

now i want 0-60 in under 4 secs, yea? :D
