hose query

iv just fitted some silicone hose from forge but unfortunatly its not as flexible as i had hoped and i think 30quid was just wasted

basically i had to replace the hose that comes from underneath the stainless Intercooler pipe and goes to the side of the DV

but the new hose doesnt bend nicely and just folds, guess thats why they call it 'straight hose'
anyway is it not a problem as the original was kinda flatened or should i do something bout it (like order a new standard part!)

u may also notice iv reversed my dv, unfortunatly this wasnt my choice as some of the rubber has split on the TIP connection after being cut and the side of the dv is longer than the bottom so it stays in better i hope

See if you can get an albow for it, i aint sure if you can though.

Bailey do the kit for there recirc valve which is the same fitment, (i think you can buy the hose kit seperatly)

surely its not hitting full boost with a squashed pipe like that is it?

I wouldn't imagine so. That must be very restricive on the pipe

seems to hit somewhere between 1.25 an 1.5 bar easy enough but i only took it round the block

I;m just lookin at what you can do to sort that out. Did you get a longer piece for 30 quid?

nah iv got plenty left but i measured to the same length as wots used as standard
dont really know wot to do
think il end up patching up the old pipe and putting it back for now pretty gutted

is urs alright condition phil? what ya want for it?

im gonna put the old thing back on for now, i cant have problems at the moment so rather look **** and maybe leak abit than blow something up
