when i brought my car the steering wheel was bent (as the previous owner had a racing steering wheel on it), and since i've had the car the horn hasn't worked anyway, so today when i decided to straighten out the steering wheel, i had a look at the horn, but couldn't find what the problem is? anyone had the same issue?

I had an issue when I fitted my Richbrook R2 steering wheel. The small copper/brass bit wasnt touching the copper/brass bit on the boss kit so my horn wasnt working.

I bent the copper/brass bit forward abit more and now it touches so the horn now works fine.

so it is the copper filament thing? i thought it was, but wasn't sure, so didn't touch it, my horn does work as the alarm goes off with the horn!

thanks for that mate!

yep my horn doesnt work either.

mines because one of the wires is corroded and the connection's come off in the steering wheel, underneath the airbag unit.

just 2 bolts in the back of the steering wheel to get the airbag unit off, have a look!

haha, ye thats probably wise, i managed to kill my airbag when i did mine, think that connector does your airbag as well though so surely if it wasnt connected your airbag warning light would be on?
