Cheers, already replaced the clock spring with a brand new one, and the fuse and relay too. Made no difference. But I’m booked into an auto electrician next week so fingers crossed they sort it.

Then 2 the bcm wich is body control module
Is that the part under the clock spring when it’s in situ? I did have a look at that but couldn’t see how to remove it. Admittedly it was getting dark when I looked at that. They a cheap replacement?

I repaired and added foam pads at the rub points taped over them 👍

That’s a good shout. Hadn’t thought about that. I’ll go out and have a look now. Thanks for the heads up mate.

Hey OP any updates? I have the same issue, every fuse in the car is fine. We tested every relay and no problems.

New clock spring, when we give the horns 12v they work.

Last thing I can think is a wire got damaged while I was driving?

Not as yet mate. Booked in for 9am tomorrow at an auto electrician to hopefully find the cause. Mines the same, changed fuses, relay, clock spring and tested the horns with direct power (they’re loud on a bench) but nothing from the steering wheel. Will update tomorrow once I’ve been.

Please update. I got the code now 01426 - Controls in steering wheel. I wonder if the model died.

Also I see now my sunroof is abit suspect for leaks.

Look forward to hearing. I will also post my findings

Soooooo I’ve just got back from the auto electrician and am pleased to say it’s sorted. Turned out I didn’t need to replace the fuse, relay or clock spring as it turned out to be a break in a wire behind the relay. Obviously not something I could’ve spotted with my diagnostic tool as theirs was a propa in depth one. Basically where you remove the cover to access your OBD port the relays sit in there and it’s a wire that feeds to/from the relay that had a break in it. He bypassed that wire and all good. I’m now road legal again 🤣. MOT booked for the 15th so all good. Appreciate all the replies to this thread, you’re a top bunch 👍🏻
