hi guys. can any1 tell me if the hks ssqv blow off valve works well with the cupra r? and wud i have to get it mapped agen with a new blow off valve. cheers ash

There are several alternatives that should work if set up correctly, such as the Forge SplitR or Turbosmart dual kompact.
IIRC, someone on here is running one but I can't remember who it is sadly.

I think it was Dan (s1 pru) that was using one of these from his dad's Impreza P1 for a while and it worked. From memory, it hit limp mode once and never did it again. The SSQV is designed to be a BOV that works with airflow meters but it will differ from car to car. I would love to try one but it's an expensive mistake to make if it doesn't work.
fock the BOVs, no point on having a tshhhhh if you get smoked by saxos when your big turbo d**k goes all limp.
