Depends on the mapping, might be worth running that question past PTorque. If I were to guess, I'd say the higher octane fuel will allow a more progressive smoother delivery of the power.

well i now know how normal stuff performs, guna start using V power. then BP ultimate.

how much octane diffeerent is Vpower and BP ulimate?

Pretty much the same... as near as makes no difference anyway. Both claimed to be 98ron. Tesco is 99ron. So basically... naff all in it between the three of them.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't... it says 95ROZ or 98RON. At least, that's what the filler cap says.

In the back of the R appendix ( so this is to lcr owners) it states you should use 98 ROZ ( unleaded) and further down the page it say’s “If the petrol mentioned is not available, Super 95 ROZ unleaded may be used, which will result in a slight loss of power”

I'll check that out tomorrow. I was going from the back of the filler cap and haven't read that bit in any great detail :lol:

Just fitted the new denso plugs, folwed by BP ultimate, feels better, but we see what mpg i get and how it performs when its abit dry.
