Just fitted my new 6000K H7R Ultimate HID Xenon Conversion Kit from HIDS 4 U.
It was so simple to fit (30 min Job ) the only issue is that the light from them is shinning too low. Getting that sorted out by David seremotors on here..

Okey dokey......got the 5000K anti glare bulbs fitted & here's what they look like compared to the 6000K normal bulbs:-

As you can see, a little less blue, which gives it a OEM look & less glare around the bottom half of the headlamp. Haven't tested them out on the road yet, but will report back once I do.

Also, here's the colour coded connector wires from the headlamp loom. Red is +ve (thought is was yellow before), brown is -ve.

I found to most time consuming bit making everything neat at the end lol

I had exactly the same problem with them shining too low, after reading through I think most people had this problem...... I just lifted them a couple of turns on the white adjuster to make them something like, I have followed a police car to the gym since then and no problems although I have got it booked in for a alignment check at the local dealer. Note the 'check', they said it could cost £50 odd to re align (for an hrs work) which I thought was rather steep after reading what other people paid. Thoughts?

The osram night breakers (+90%) came today which im gonna attempt to fit tomorrow before it goes in for the check. I paid £17 including delivery and some xenon look sidelights which I thought was more than reasonable. Will be nice to see how they look against the HIDS.

Umm interesting, wierd how mine didnt have the colour coded wires

Looking good thought mate, supprised how much I like the chrisp white actually. Didnt really consider the the 5000K when I got mine, you will have to report back on driving differences (compared to 6000K).

I assume you have the NightBreakers for the main beam?

I have SilverStars in at the moment. They are a little bit better than normal 55W halogens.

I don't tend to use main beam much now, as the HIDs on dipped give me enough light to see further ahead.

Had a test of the 5000K bulbs tonight.
They are definately whiter than the 6000K.......very white in fact.
I'm impressed with the total light output. They remind me of my factory xenons on my Fabia vRS.

The anti glare shields do a good job, as I've noticed the sharp beam cut off. This is probably why people are complaining that the lights seem low. Maybe I'll raise them a little.

Overall I'm happy with them. They don't give you the bluey white colour that some people prefer, but as I mentioned before, this wasn't the look I was wanting. I like to keep it OEM style!! ;)
