Devonmikeyboy had em on a PD160 cupra and said it made a huge difference. To be fair the the leon/tolly reflectors aren't amazing but honestly the difference is that different.

Should have done a before and after shot. Its the quality of the light thats as important as the reflector.

I start work at 4am so i tend to do alot of driving in the dark and have tried lots of different bulbs in the past and nothing comes close to the light out put of an HID/factory xenon kit. I always get factory xenons fitted to my cars when i buy them but Seat in their wisdom do not fit them to the top of the range PD160 Cupra so i got an HID kit instead.

I have experienced HID and the output is certainly so much better but the Ibiza reflectors seem so poor that they just don't collect the light and focus it any sensible way. The main beams are just too tiny to be of real performance.

I'm contemplating how to mount some old Cibies, woondering if I can squeeze Oscars into the grill area below the bumper. They will be mounted too low there really but then with the addition of HID woulld be proper lighting!
