Hi,

Today I've lifted the trunk door, in the c=upra 2016, and a rubbery part fall off the trim.
Should it be glued? Should it be stuck in some manner?

The part on the left is sitting pretty hard, it feels like it is a part of a bigger trim, and on the right it has no connectors or something.

Should I just glue it and it will be ok? Or it should be removable somehow?

Thanks in advance.

Hi mate, this is part of the tail light unit, I don’t think it can be replaced on its own, i can’t see a problem with using glue to repair it back onto the unit, just might not last. Best of luck with repair! If not then a replacement one will only set you back £50. Attached pics of a new unit for reference.

Part of a taillight? Ok, I will try to glue it. Don't think I should replace the whole taillight because of some internal piece of rubber (I thought it's more like part of the trim under the door)

Thanks for the hint!

No probs, inside the boot on your right there will be a cover with a bolt that once removed will let you take the light off and will let you see, might make it a slight easier repair too!
