hi guys first day of drivin and Doh!

after driving 14 miles sweet as a whisstle i went in the halfords car park over a speed bump and my car stopped!?!? i don't know why, it wouldn't start so i left it for a bit and it stated up again no worrys left the car park went into the town and had the same problem again and again and again

can anyone help me please i would be very greatful

could of knocked something on bump look under car and see if anything is hanging

you havent got a strongsmell of petrol have ya mate?

a mate of mine went over a bump and partially disconnected his fuel line.. nothing much happened at first.. just but out cos not enough fuel was getting through.. but then the cable come off a fuel leaked everywhere. massive trail for about a mile lol..


all he had to do was push the connector back on.. worth a check

cheers guys, shes gone to seat in leicester this morning as my grandad knows the service guys there gonna get it serviced at the same time and fully checked over, for piece of mind

I may be way of here but is there some sort of "fuel cut off switch"?

Maybe you jolted it?

i think it def a fuel problem as the engine runs fine and then just cuts out

hi guys it needs a new speed sensor which is on order and she'll be ready on wed afternoon, it also needs a new lamber sensor but as it is fitted with an aem induction kit do you guys and girls think it will be down to that? as the car would run fine without a new one but it is a concern come M.O.T time according to seat anyway speed sensor fitted 203 of the queens

any advice welcome
