As you know I had a MAF failure on my LCR last week. Due to the poor experiances I have had at Droitwich on every occasion (Except for John & Paula in Parts) I chose to have my car sent to Bay Horse Motors in Hereford.

And what a good choice I made. I had a phone call from Richard Husler the General Manager, he told me exactly whats happening and when my car would be ready, he assured me my car would be looked after and not abused and not driven without my permission. My MAF was shipped overnight from Seat, and at 8:15 Richard took the hour trip to come and collect my from Worcester and drive me to Hereford, this really was outstanding. When we arrive at the dealers, my car has been cleaned inside and out, and the MAF has already been replaced. I met the Parts and Service team, great people, went for a drive with the mechanic to make sure I am happy with the car. Brilliant job done, my first experiance has been great and hope this is the start of a long SEAT relationship, I will certainly be making the worth while trip for all my service needs.

Richard also informs me that they are mod happy, and that any instructions given will be followed, if you dont want your car driven etc then it wont happen.

Richard and the team keep up the great work.

My Thoughts

Well car went in yesterday for a service (4th one so far!!), arrived in the morning and after some messing about to gather my things from the car went in to hand my keys over and collect my courtasy car for the day. Also listed several faults with the car that I've had which were to be investigated under warrenty.

After a quick chat with the, friendy staff, I went off in a diesel beeza for the day. They called me just before midday to say the car was ready and they'd looked at the faults I was having too :) .

So back to collect my car, which had been cleaned too, and all was well and no problems reported by them either. Paid, a good price too I shall add ;) , and all was done. Also took a friend looking for a FR Tdi Leon to buy and had a look in the showroom and a good long chat with them there too. Very friendly and very helpful also, which goes a long way these days. We did talk in length about the cars and the place generally.

The dealership is currently Skoda/Seat but new parts are under construction as we speak with a new service area to be built and eventually new workshops also from the conversation I had. The place may not look much from the front but they did have a good selection of used cars at the back .

All in all I was very impressed and think any other dealer has a long way to go to match the level of help they offered. So keep up the good work and you'll be seeing a few more of us along soon  :)

It was a little way for me to go also but think if your going to get good service it's well worth it in the end. The people there seemed a little shocked I'd traveled there for my car to be done but after explaining about some other dealers they agreed that standards must be kept high in order to keep customers plus word of mouth on sites like this can do a lot for their reputation also.

Dale was happy with the service he was offered from them and I'm sure we both, and hopefully a lot of others too, will be using them in the future for anything we need doing.

Steve I'm sure the trip up is worth it but I'm not sure what your local dealers are like??

Great service as usual, aside from finger prints left over the inside and outside of car, needs cleaning again. 1st service £126.
Jase, the parts guy was out this morning, so no one to ask for your cambelt etc. Soz
