First thoughts without reading the article (just about to) just going from this picture - is who on earth signed off those alloys?

Think those Alloys are nice tbh, and sense the styling of those corresponds with the hybrid model. Sure I've seen similar design on other hybrids for some reason or another? Maybe on some form of kentic power grab or extra streamlining due to hybrid?

Bit annoyed you still need the estate for 'full fat' version. Would of been great to gain 4x4 in the hatch, and would of assumed this to be the case on the hybrid hatch? Petrol on front / electric on rear?

Whats the square panel above the front wheel? At first I thought it was the fuel cap.

"No longer an upgrade option, but fitted as standard the new CUPRA Leon has large 370mm Brembo brakes."

@Syphon Is this correct? I've read the basic 245 model with 18" wheels comes with the 340mm brakes still? Or do all models now come with the 370mm brakes?

Good question. Don't know. Depends if they will fit. Back in UK now so noone to ask right now but will find out.

The pictures of the hybrid model show non-drilled discs with Cupra (rather than Brembo) branded calipers so my guess is that only the 300/310 bhp models will have Brembo brakes.

I doubt it, TBH. I would expect the electic motor to be mounted on the gearbox like a Golf GTE.

Yeah it's definitely at the front. You can clearly see the lazy charge point near the front wheel arch.
