Help - Speedo not working!

Got in the car this morning and drove to the bottom of the road, only to find the speedo isn't working! (but rev counter, fuel level etc is fine)
Just got in again to try it and still no luck.

Spoke to my local dealer but they can't fit me in until next Monday!

So has anyone got any ideas what could be wrong?

Any help much appreciated.

vehicle speed sensor - located on top of the gearbox

look for the wires going into a connector....

Just had a look but couldn't seen any wires or connector going into the gearbox. Will I need to remove the airbox to be able to see it?

speedo has broken mate.


I dunno, could try disconnecting the battery for few mins, may need a reset, but more than likely just busted, so best wait till monday, just work off the revs for speed,

that's what happens when you take the speedo needle off the clock....

Will just have to wait until it goes into the dealers.

Also, just noticed that the milometer isn't working either
