Evening all!

Need some help please and I know one of you will know the answer! I need to know which fuse on the engine fuse board is spare and is only active with the ignition. Basically I have some DRL's that I need to connect up and I'm not sure which one to use.

I will be using a piggy-back fuse holder so I could do with knowing which size fuse to use. There are 12 error free smd lamps which are being used.

Thanks for your help!

It varies slightly depending on the year of the car.
Up to May 2008, the spare ones appear to be 7, 11, 18 & 20
From May 2008, they appear to be 2, 11, 18, & 28.
This may vary depending on what equipment has been fitted to the car.
They all seem to be ignition supplies.
To work out the minimum size fuse you need, divide the total wattage of the bulbs by the voltage (12) and that will give you the ampage (eg, 55W bulb, divided by 12 (voltage) = 4.58 so requires a 5 amp fuse)

Still got a problem with the fuses. Got my DRLs to work on a vacant fuse on my 58 plate (as per the owners manual - 7, 11, 18, 20) however they are constantly on and I need them only to work when the ignition is turned on.

Any thoughts on what to do?

Thanks

Rob
