**** **** ****

Did the delock barrel today after the fuse relocating has been fine for a week.

All went smoothly, all worked fine.

Then I changed the boot light to one of these brighter festoons, but the boot light wouldnt work at all after I tried changing the bulb.

Pressed the lock button to come in for dinner, no central locking. Put the old boot light back in, no boot light, and I've now just realised I have no electric windows.

WTF have I just done to my car? All the above bits seem to run off the same fuse - but the fuse is fine, I even swapped the fuse with the hazard light fuse and still no joy (harzard lights work with swapped fuse)

So basically, taken all the delock kit back out - wiring included.

please please someone help :(

You've blown one of the small fuses. I've done this myself mate, don't panic its an easy problem to solve. Unless your car was locked?
But if you were in the boot like i was, your car must have been unlocked.
Its a 10A Fuse from memory. Check the handbook for info on which fuse it is.

This has nothing to do with the delock BTW. Its happened because you didn't disconnect the rear festoon holder before removing and replacing the bulb ;)

God what a day.

Yes it was fuse 14 that I had blown. Replaced it and the remote fob still wouldn't work so had to re-program that too.

All ok now, I'm gonna wait for the weather to get better to re-do all the delocking again. Far too cold and wet to be sitting with door open making all carpets/seats pissed wet through.

Cheers for the replies. And yes it was all my fault cos I din't take the power connector off the boot lamp when trying to put the festoon in.
