Hi,

Can anybody help me.

I have a 2003 210 LCR and for about a month i have had this crinding noise when driving .

I have had both front wheel bearings changed twice! and changed tyres also but still no joy the garage i use is a friend of mine and is completly stumped by the noise.

As a last chance i thought id try on here to see if its a common problem and someone can pin point the problem.

The garage says maybe the gearbox bearings but is reluctant to strip gearbox without being 100% sure.

Please help!

When you say grinding does it happen all the time, at any speed, when turning etc? Is the car standard? The more information the better.

Hi,

Yeah it makes the noise all the time, and does'nt seem to change when turning, you feel the grinding through the pedals also, had brake discs changed and pads also has we thought it was the discs catching the pads but no luck still there.

I have a APR tuning kit on , but no other mods.

one suggestion is diff bearings in gear box has they are attached to same shaft has wheel bearings but its a big job to do if not succdessful.
Thanks
