this morning the glow plug light (wiggly line one) started flashing. There seems to be no loss in power. Is there anything I can check before taking to a garage as I've no warranty so don't want to get screwed over.
are your brake lights working? The brake light switch is a common weak spot and the glowplug light flashes when this goes wrong.
Part will only cost a few quid from GSF etc and its an easy job to fit. There is a knack to fitting it, search the forums for details. If you dont install the new switch in the right way you will likely need to buy a new one so read how to do it a few times before trying it!
