Ok

Did a 100+ mile trip today
On the way home a rattle developed in the engine bay !! :censored:
It also sometimes chugged, similar to a misfire but sparks are basically brand new plus no warning light.

However the Red Oil light DID come on once ( scared the sh1t out of me, its worse than the petrol bleep lol )

I got home, checked the usual bits and bobs but everything seems fine.
Now the oil is low but that will be sorted tomorrow.

Can anyone else think what the rattle could be ?
Similar experiences even ?

I do have an induction kit at the minute if thats any use.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP !!

Thanks

well if your oil light was on.. you have low oil... this means you where probably starving the tappets of oil, which in turn gives you the rattling noise.

NOT good for your engine in the slightest! you really should make it a habbit to check your oil before you start your engine.

not supprising... during my ownership i broke all 3 engine mounts... they are like cocktail sticks!

lets hope you have not ran your tappets too dry and ruined the seals. keep a close eye on your oil level and for any blue smoke out the exhaust
