Help needed-no power

Hi there i deperately need some help. I have a MK1 leon cupra 2001. Bought the car in August and just last month the car started mis firing/loosing power now and again, I was advised it was 'shorting out' and my local garage said it was the spark plugs and rightly enough one had gone all brown and so replacing them did fix it. Now a month on and 800 miles later its started mis firing/losing power again, and last night as i was driving the temperature dropped down to 60,it normally sits at 90. Any ideas anyone ?

Most likely at work
as for your temperature drop, that would most likely be the temperature sensor thats gone faulty. you can get a new one for £10-20 either from ebay or from the dealer. i just replaced mine yesterday.

sounds like you might have a coil pack issue or something similar, best to run a VAG COM check on it
