Help Needed in Bournemouth !

Hi everyone.

I'm pretty new on here. I bought my 20VT Cupra a couple of weeks ago and am booked in with Performance Torque for a re-map next week, but yesterday the warning light came on !!! THe car still seems to be driving ok though. In my old car I could just lift up the passenger footwell and check the pattern of the flashing lights, then look up on the forum to see what the code meant. As far as I can understand with the the Leon, you need VAG-COM software to diagnose the fault ?

I'm a student and would rather try DIY than go straight to the Dealer. Does anyone in the Bournemouth/Poole area have VAG-Com and would be able to plug me in ? If not, does anyone know of any good Independent VAG garages or Auto electricians in the area ??

Rob - I live just next to Boscombe pier.....(East Bournemouth). You're in Southampton right ?

Dan - Yes..... the dash "Warning" light. No. 13 in the owner's manual.

THe bummer is that the car was serviced just before I bought it. Hopefully it will just be a pollen filter or something
