help about throttle body

any one could tell me if the butterfly in the throttle body should be moving up and down as it dont move at all i took the intake pipe half off and i got my dad to turn the engine on and press the acceltater pedel and wjem he did it i couldnt see it move! my epc and tcs light is on and is in limp mode!! got a help request on vag com help just want the car fixed before my 21th birthday!! any on that could help?

Start the engine then look at it.

Umm it's quite likely, but it could be limp mode etc stops throttle opening im not sure.

don't go getting a new TB before you get it on vagcom.

Its always guessing unless you know what codes its bringing up

i got it on the freeware vag com and i got the following:

Do i need to perform a throthle alinement?

i need the full version of vag com to do it tho might buy the full vag com of ross tech for $99 about £65

i have i got the freeware one so i might buy the full vesion for $99 and then i got the full works just for any of my mates cars
