Ok so wind deflectors are a marmite mod if you like but I think they look ok and serve a purpose to solve the window down rain dripping inside the car problem, whatever you think this threads not about opinion it's about solving a fitting issue.
Now Heko provide a way of fixing your newly purchased deflectors via double sided tape and metal clips but the tape isn't great which can be swapped for sticky backed foam but the issue is the more you sit the deflector off the inside of the glass channel the more the glass will catch the deflector, I stuck with the standard adhesive.
Now heko say to install two clips on the top edge of the deflector, this hold the deflector pretty well but still leaves it a bit loose at the vertical edge of the deflector, the sides if you will.
Here in this case the rear, same for front back edge.
Now the clips as they are (you may need to buy extra from eBay as 2 per deflector are all that's supplied) if installed on the sides will catch the window as it goes up, what you need to do is create a chamfered edge by using a pair of flat nosed pliers and sus out the correct end to do this to, spikey bit must be against the plastic deflector to grip it and chamfered edge on the bottom
Standard clip (eBay extra)
Modified chamfered with pliers
What this basically does is when installed on the sides leaves the edge clear from the path of the glass as the edge sinks into the window rubber a tad deeper than the rest of the clip, and violla a solid wind deflector that won't cause window probs or fall off, so you don't just need to run a front one because the rear ones being a bitch. Try it, it works
