heating problem

hi all having problem with heating in my seat leon cupra had the code read it's 17704 which is the thermostat but i don't know where to find the thermostat on the engine if you can help i would appreciate it thanks dave:confused:

Can you elaborate on your problem? The thermostat is a mechanical component so the ecu would not flag up an exact fault only ones relating to it i.e its very rare for a fault to come up saying "thermostat faulty" , its more likely to throw up fuelling faults and temp sensor faults before hand because it'll be either running hot or cold.
