deffo m8 just dont rush it and you will be fine not worth paying sum1 daft money 2 do it.

right then, managed to get the motor out bit of a struggle at first but got there in the end. motor seems fine doesent seem seized or owt. one thing that i think it might be is- where u plug the large plug into for the motor there is like some sort of electrical component, not sure what it is! anyway it was all rusty and corroded so am thinking that power is not flowing through it hence no heaters! does anyone no what part that is? guna try the scrappy tomorrow see if i can find a replacement and then take things from there.

i no th part u meen went on me b4 i went to to scrappy cost £0 went in the old pocket lol

its the heater resistor or rheostat as its some times called

usually symptoms are it will only work on full speed before it packs up altogether

heaters are now working! was the heater resistor that was faulty, so i half inched a load from the scrappy plus a heater motor. so if any 1 want a heater motor for mk2 ibiza then pm me. cheers for the help on this 1 anyway lads much appreciated
