how do you mean why it wouldn't work ? i'm guessing you have complete headrests with the monitors built in ?

if removing seat/airbags always disconnect the battery for at least 15mins is advised for starters

wiring wise there's 2 options really, trailing it loose (temporary) down the outside of the seat or stripping the seat trim loose and feeding the wires down inside.

worth actually testing the system wired up quickly before you start stripping it all out mind and during installation for that matter :) wouldn't be the first time i have seen 10 hours work only to find a fault somewhere

maybe best if you post in the ICE section. as said probably best to wire up first, as even if the unit fails afterwards you can always retain the wiring if you replace the unit. What system are you wiring up to? Or do they have dvd players inbuilt?

im wiring up to my JVC system it has a little screen in the front,

I only posted in Leon MK1 as i was wondering if i can just poke a coathanger down the holes for the headrests and pull the wires through.

So itsmore a Seat Seat build question. Wiring it up is really easy and i have a terminal block fed from the drivers side just for little things like this.

So any diagrams or knowlege of how the seat works.

I have alot of mods going on as im trying to go for a bit of a show car is look on the leon :)

why not try looking on ebay or a local scrappy and seeing if you can get a ripped/damaged seat for cheap? Then take it apart and find out, rather than (potentially) destroying yours?! Cheaper to find out you cant do it that way on a ruined seat than it is on your own seats!

Nice roof James! Is it stickers or spray?

There's a set of full seats in nice condition in the FS section for just £50 at the mo so if you find a single crap one it shouldnt be a bad price!
