ok had to raise my car a bit in the rear to fit my spacers, and tell me the bottom spring isn't compressed here...

you still dont seem to understand what Im saying... just because the coils of a spring are close together doesnt mean it is being compressed... it depends how it was designed

the spring base/seat... which way woul you wind that to lower your car??

try it...

if what you are saying is correct... you waill have to wind it UP to lower the car (compressing the spring)

I GARUNTEE you you wind it down... confirming what I am trying to explain.

that aint compressed thats how coilovers look! the spring doesnt compress if it did you would have one dodgy ride!!
